It is difficult to report any story with a slain police officer. It is even worse when a fellow officer kills one of his own.
Two days ago in Santa Monica CA, an officer was trying to arrest a suspect policeman for sexual misconduct with a minor, reported the Santa Maria Times.
The charged officer, according to the report, drew his weapon and fired. The arresting policeman, in response, fired at the suspect fatally wounding him. The suspected officer died later in the hospital.
No names have been released as of yet, though authorities acknowledged that the suspect officer was being investigated on allegations of sexual misconduct against a minor.
