After reports emerged that her parents were calling her divorce "a blessing from God," Katy Perry snapped back on her twitter, saying "Concerning the gossip, I want to be clear that NO ONE speaks for me. Not a blog, magazine, "close sources" or my family.
This is the first time Katy has broken her silence since Russell Brand announced that he and Katy were filing for divorce on December 30th.
She also thanked fans for their outpouring of support in another tweet, saying "I am so grateful for all the love and support I've had from people around the world. You guys have made my heart happy again."
