Lil Wayne remains a cultural force to be reckoned with, and The Carter IV proves it. Weezy remained unhinged throughout the album, spouting off on anti-war rants like "President Carter" and getting to the core with "How to Love."

Appearances on the album include Cory Gunz, Drake, T-Pain, Tech N9ne, Andre 3000, John Legend, Bruno Mars, Birdman, Kevin Rudolf, Jadakiss, Bun B, Nas, Shyne, and Busta Rhymes.

Tha Carter IV achieved first week sales of 964,000 copies in the United States and became Lil Wayne's second album to top the US Billboard 200 in its first week.
