Occupy Wall Street protesters showed New York City Mayor Bloomberg that he couldn't just wipe his hands of the movement at Zuccotti Park after booting them off the premises last week. Now, the protesters are back in bigger effect, and paid a special visit to Mayor Bloomberg's doorstep on Sunday afternoon.
Armed with drums and picketing signs protesters gathered on 5th Avenue near 79th Street right around the corner from Mayor Bloomberg's swanky townhouse and let their chants fly.
A local resident of Bloomberg's neighborhood, Marian Swerdlow, 62, chimed in with her opinion on the matter, saying "Bloomberg made a big mistake kicking the protesters out - now they're everywhere. It's going to keep spreading. He'll see that this movement has support. He has to start treating people with respect."
