Sofia Vergara's sexy character "Gloria" wouldn't be the same without her trademark curves, but before her role onthe breakout comedy, her publicist urged her to get a breast reduction.
However, Sofia didn't take the advice, because she is proud of her sexy figure and wasn't going to be ashamed of her natural beauty. She recently opened up about the ordeal in the newest issue of Health magazine.
"When I moved to America, I was more voluptuous, and I felt a little different. My publicist [at the time] told me, 'I think you should just reduce your boobs because nobody's going to take you seriously here."
She also added that she's not against plastic surgery, saying "I'm not against [plastic surgery] at all. But I think you should go into it more thinking that you want to look beautiful than trying to look young. Because I don't really think that plastic surgery can make you look young ... if you go in with the mentality of being young I think that's where accidents can happen."
We are in favor of Sofia's decision!
