Erick Sermon of EPMD Suffers Heart Attack

The 'Green Eyed Bandit' has been a staple in hip hop culture for quite a few years. According to longtime producer and DJ for EPMD, DJ Scratch says that Erick Sermon suffered a heart attack on Saturday, November 12th. Scratch says the 42 year old MC is doing 'ok', but asks that fans keep him in their prayers.
Announcement of Erick's heart attack comes just days after the death of Heavy D and weeks after Rick Ross suffers two seizures in one day.
Well wishes to Erick and his family.

Dam we got to start having a lot of old school concert every month. If we don't they may not be around no more. Let's start showing some dam respect for old school rappers while they are alive. Damn black people need to start taking care of themselves! A heart attack at 42?! Heavy D dying before 50, Rick Ross having a bunch of seizures hours apart. I hope Sermon gets well but people really to take care of themselves.

Dj Scratch has been EPMD's Dj for over 19 years. Solar was with Guru for about 6. How does that even make sense?
