Bishop Eddie Long Sued in Investment Scam

Embattled preacher Bishop Eddie Long is being sued by ten New Birth Baptist Church parishioners, who say they lost more than $1 million after investing in a company endorsed by Long.

The lawsuit, which was filed on Wednesday, states that Long held a 3-day long investment seminar, where he introduced City Capital Corporation's then-CEO, Ephren Taylor to his congregation. Members of the congregation were then encouraged to invest in the company after Long stated, "I am responsible for everyone I bring before you and what they say. The gentleman that I am going to bring before you is an ordained minster. That gives me great pride to bring him for you."

The suit also reveals that Taylor's company was failing and members of the church were scammed out of their life savings by investing in the collapsing business.

This lawsuit comes right on the heels of another suit, which Long settled earlier this year when 5 of his former parishioners claimed he committed sexual misconduct.

hey i was thinking if god impregnated marry and they had Jesus while she was still married to Joseph, aint that adultery? don't matter how he did it miracle or not, so which means he broke he's own law? i,m confused someone please answer my question so i can be save.Oh another question from the knowledge we know now if the brain don't get oxygen for at least 5 minutes than you become brain dead and in the medical field there's no comming back from that, so if jesus came to earth as a man had a body of man how is it possible for him to wake up after being dead for three days!!! not only your body start to decompose especially in those days where the body was expose to air and there was no treatment to preserve it, how is it possible for him to wake up? some one please answer my question and give me examples and I swear to your god i'll join your church and give you my savings.

I thought Christians were good people? Raping kids,stealing hardworking people's money, preaching lies they them self don't believe. Im glad I found the truth which science pure facts no mythical gods or zombies rising from dead to go sit on clouds with a decomposed body lol.
