Meagan Good: "I'm focused on being married to God"

In a recent interview with Jamie Foster Brown, model/actress Meagan Good said that since breaking up with NFL player Thomas Jones, she's been living a nun's life.

Jamie: Are you going to be able to find somebody, you think?
Meagan: I'm not in a rush.

Jamie: No, I'm saying have you been seeing anyone?
Meagan: I met someone special, but you know what? I'm so in love with God right now. I'm focused on being married to God.

Jamie: Okay now, you're like the third or fourth girl to tell me that. "I am God's girlfriend." So I said you can't cheat on Him. (laughs) I told my girlfriend—
Meagan: I'm not! I'm celibate!

Jamie: Oh okay. You can't be God's girlfriend and when you meet a guy you say, "Okay, God, step aside." (laughs)
Meagan: No, the next guy I meet is my husband, and I already talked to God about that. I was like, "Check this out, Lord, I know what you want for me." And He really wants a man that has completely sold out for Christ for me, who can help me improve and be better than I am. So I know exactly what He wants for me and I don't know if I have already found it. It's quite possible that I may have, but I am so not in a rush for anything. I am in a rush to focus on Him right now.

Jamie: When you say focus on Him, you read the Bible a lot?
Meagan: Every single day for the past three-and-a-half years; every day without fail.

This chick is TRULY not following scripture and knows nothing about the bible just by her “think off your feet” and come up with something that sounds good to say. This is another example of how Black people use religion to fit when it’s at THEIR convenience! The truth is YOU DON”T KNOW WHAT THE LORD HAS IN STORE FOR YOU until Jesus decides you may have eternal life…PERIOD! She never mentioned JESUS until the very end but she reads every day right? There is no way THROUGH the father except by me.aka JESUS. So you can’t have a direct relationship with GOD..You gotta go through JESUS..any other way is that of a thief and a robber. There is no such thing as GOD’S girlfriend..that is complete blasphemy! The true LIVING POWER needs no companionship or some stupid social arrangement. NEVER! KNOTZ I’m referring companionship as a boyfriend you Reprobate! READ again. The LORD is not your’s or anybody’s boyfriend or girlfriend. He is the MOST HIGH..You are supposed to FEAR the lord and keep his commandments and keep your mouth shut when in the presence of the holy spirit. I don’t know what Bible you are reading but Jesus said it himself. Megan Good serves no purpose to me…THE SCRIPTURES DO. I don’t need to hear her personal Public Announcement for publicity keep that to yourself. I don’t need a HOLLYWOOD role model…THE SCRIPTURES ARE ENOUGH FOR ME.
