No one would ever suspect Taylor Swift and Kanye West to repair the damage done at MTV's 2009 VMAs, where Kanye stole the limelight away from Taylor's win with an impromteau speech.
Well, it seems the two aren't holding grudges any longer, as a story emerged of the two giving each other a high five at this years Met Costume Gala. According to Lizzie Widdicombe, writer for The New Yorker, who accompanied Swift to the Gala, Taylor was caught off guard when she saw Kanye at the top of the stairs entering the event.
Swift was unsure whether she should talk to him or not, but she soon saw that he was willing to put the incident in the past as he held out his hand, and " they exchanged a studiedly casual 'down low' high five."
I guess these two have buried the hatchet?
