Kreayshawn has came under attack in recent months over her association to long time friend and "sister" V-Nasty and her choice of offensive language. She recently sat down with Global Grind to explain her side of the story and how she's dealing with the early stages of fame.

She came onto the scene with her song "Gucci Gucci," which has amassed a strong following on Youtube and thrust her into the faces of Sony, who signed her on a $1M record deal. When asked about hardships as a white rapper, she replied "Just as a female and just being white it's hard, but this is who I am. This is how I grew up and I haven't been anything else, so for me it's just normal."

Kreayshawn also admitted that confidence has gotten her through people throwing negative comments her way and hating what she stands for. She also explained the confusion about her "White Girl Mob," saying it's "just the name of the group" and any race can be a part of it as long as "she was spitting bars and she was down to be in the White Girl Mob."

Kreayshawn is expected to appear at the 2011 MTV VMA's on August 28th with her White Girl Mob, and warns that V-Nasty is her #1 person to have a Kanye and bum-rush the stage.
