Carolina Panthers' new tight end Jeremy Shockey recently sat down for an interview where he revealed that if the labor deal is finished Thursday, the Panthers will begin a three-day mini camp on Friday.
"The deal will be done Thursday and we're being told to report to Charlotte for a three-day camp the 22nd through 25th."
Shockey was vacationing in the Keys on a scuba diving excursion when he received several texts from fellow players ecstatic about the news.
"Obviously the details have to be completed, but this deal is done."
