Catherine Kieu Becker, 49 of Garden Grove, CA cut off her estranged husband's penis and dropped it in the garbage disposal on Tuesday.
Police responded to a call made by Becker and when they arrived to the residence, they found her 51-year-old husband bleeding from his crotch. His name has been withheld for his protection.
When police questioned Becker about her motives, she said "he deserved it." Becker admitted to tying her husband to their bed after poisoning his food to make him sleepy, and once he woke up, she cut off his penis.
She then took his penis, threw it into the garbage disposal and turned it on.
Becker has been charged with aggravated mayhem, false imprisonment, assault with a deadly weapon, administering a drug with intent to commit a felony, poisoning and spousal abuse.
Her husband is in the hospital listed in serious condition.
