
Former NBA player Jose Ortiz was arrested in Puerto Rico after cops found in his house 218 marijuana plants and 40 rounds of assault rifle ammo.
Ortiz was charged with possession with intent to distribute. U.S. Attorney Rosa Emilia Rodriguez says the former Utah Jazz player faces a minimum of 5 years behind bars if convicted.
The plants were found at Ortiz's rented home in the mountain town of Cayey.
