Strings a.k.a Tateeze got her start working with Keith Sweat in a joint deal with Epic Records. She recorded two albums with the label, but they were never released. Strings left Epic Records, because she felt that they didn't know what to do with her on the label. Soon after she ran into Baby and Slim in Miami and was signed to Cash Money. During this time she recorded several tracks with Mannie Fresh, including #1 hit "Oh Yeah" as well as several songs with the Hot Boys. During Hurricane Katrina, Strings solo project was put on hold and she parted ways with the label soon after.
