Real estate mogul Donald Trump was once sued by the Justice Department for refusing to rent to African Americans. Apparently, that is only one instance where Trump has displayed blatant racism.
Trump was vocal in doubting the citizenship of President Obama, and more damaging is a passage from Trumped!, a book written by former president of Trump Hotel and Casino, John R. O'Donnell. O'Donnell recalls hearing Trump declare that "laziness is a trait in blacks", and exclaiming:
“Black guys counting my money! I hate it. The only kind of people I want counting my money are little short guys that wear yarmulkes every day.”
Trump later acknowledged in an interview that "The stuff O'Donnell wrote about me is probably true".
Lastly, there seems to be word that some members of his show, "The Apprentice" are claiming he was racist during the taping of the show.
