With all this news about Lindsay Lohan stealing necklaces and Christina Aguilera flubbing the National Anthem sometimes we miss more important news. Good thing you've got VladTv, because right now there's a giant asteroid barreling towards Earth.
The asteroid, stylishly named 2011 CA7, will fly within 64,300 miles of Earth, according to NASA's Asteroid Watch. Astronomers first discovered this 9 1/2 foot diameter bad boy earlier this month, and are keeping it under close watch.
The car-size asteroid will fly by Earth on Wednesday, the second space rock in five days to come very close to our planet. Thankfully, scientists say there is no risk of a collision.
