One of the employees seems to think so since he sent a copy of it to TechCrunch.
Its this specific portion that is in question -
"Although we can't continue on this journey together--I hope you will all stay connected with MySpace and know that your contribution to the business was a unique moment in time and that you participated in something that few have been part of in our industry."
Apparently the employees who just finished helping the site get through a major redesign and preparation for a potential sale feel they were "used" by Mike Jones and their superiors. They were worked into the ground with their layoff already set in stone from the gate. You can't help but feel for the 500 people that were laid off.
It is rumored another 500 employees will lose their jobs if a buyer for the failing website isn't found by summer. MySpace was purchased for $500,000,000 by Rupert Murdoch's NewsCorp but in the past year alone has lost $156,000,000 which is as said by the COO "unsustainable".
