Police Officer Kills Two Women Texting While Driving at 126MPH

He is placed on paid administrative leave, he admits his guilt, gets convicted, gets probation and now he wants to be compensated for his injuries?!?!

The officer in question Matt Mitchell was driving 126MPH while texting, emailing and on the phone with his wife through after Thanksgiving Day traffic when he struck a car carrying two women, both were killed instantly.

Mitchell was paid his full salary for two years while he was on leave. He plead guilty to reckless homicide and reckless driving and was only given 30 months probation and is now demanding pay for his injuries. Only in America...

i think d officer should be jailed for 5years with community service cos it is ignorant for a person 2 email or call someone while driving.

it is absolutely ubsurd that this officer is asking for workers comp. he was injured due to his own negligence and it was personal reasons he got hurt not business related. it is not in his job description to text, email or talk to his wife on his personal cell

You three are out of your fucking minds. Compensate the victims families? I can almost guarantee that has happened. Tameka you uneducated ghetto trash, how do you know he doesn't need compensation? He was injured on the job. I am sure you think he is asking for a hand out, but from reading what and how you wrote you should be able to spot someone that is looking for free unworked for money. The huge difference between this guy and you trash is that he is willing to put his life on the line for you and everyone else he doesn't know. You must be a scumbag cop. Cops put their 'lives on the line'? LOL come on son. Police officer is no where near being the most dangerous job. They take oaths to uphold the Constitution, but completely ignore that when they are 'doing their jobs'. Police have become militarized, no longer are they 'peace officers'. If your IQ is too high, they dont hire you. Why is that? Because you have to be a stupid ignorant scumbag to want to be a cop in 2010. AND He got PAYED leave?!?! wtf. This corruption just never ends.
