Ex-Illini, College Hooper, Jamar Smith was taking his grandparents whip for a spin along side a fellow teammate. His blood alcohol level was twice the legal limit and he crashed into a tree leaving his teammate unconscious. Jamar drove a mile from the scene to his apartment, where he left his teammate in the car, believing he was dead. Jamar was convicted of aggravated driving under the influence and served 15 days in jail.
