Although the details of this is sketchy, Pimp C had some sort of altercation where he pulled a pistol out on a female fan in a mall. He luckily got away with probation. But in 2002, he was sentenced to 8 years for violating his probation. After being released in 2005 and having a great run in the music field (even being nominated for a Grammy), he died in 2007 from a syrup overdose.
