Remember when Ludacris rapped "I'm young wild and strapped like Chi Ali" in the song "Stand Up"? In 1999, Chi Ali was a rising rap star. He was part of the legendary Native Tongue family alongside Black Sheep, A Tribe Called Quest and De La Soul. He was getting little roles in movies like Strapped. But then everything went downhill. He was convicted of murdering the brother of his ex-girlfriend over $300 and a some CD's. Consequently, he recieved 14 years in prison which he's currently serving out.
