Back in March of this year Laura Govan, who appeared on several seasons of the hit reality show 'Basketball Wives L.A.,' lamented that her former fiance, professional baller Gilbert Arenas, took back her $1 million engagement ring and sold it without her permission; an action which led to her suing him.
Recently, the professional athlete admitted in court that back in 2008 he swiped the pricey engagement ring, yet claims that the symbol of eternal love is still in his possession and that he never intends to sell it, this according to TMZ Sports.
Although the couple have together created four children, legal documents obtained by TMZ attest to how acrimonious their strained relationship has become. The NBA star verified that last year he kicked his estranged wife out of his L.A. home, and believes that the chance of them reconciling and living together again is close to nil.
