Tension has been at an all-time high since the funeral of the slain Freddie Gray was held on April 27, resulting in riots all across Baltimore for over a week. Many celebrities have gone to the Maryland city to show their support, especially since Prince held a concert there last night called "Rally 4 Peace," where he asked everyone to wear gray in honor of Freddie Gray who passed away from spinal injuries suffered at the hands of police.
One famous hip-hop couple notably present at the event was Jay Z and Beyonce, who visited Gray's family and took photos with Mike Brown's mother, the 18-year-old Black man from Ferguson, Missouri who was shot and killed by officer Darren Wilson last August. Jay Z also used his music-streaming service TIDAL to provide live audio from the concert, and was joined by Beyonce's mother Tina Knowles and Alicia Keys when he met with the families.
