Everyone surely thought Dr. Dre would be the richest man in Hip-Hop after selling Beats to Apple last May for $3.2 billion, but according to The Forbes Five: Hip-Hop's Wealthiest Artists 2015 list, he only came in second after another well-established hip-hop mogul.

Diddy swept the board this time around with a staggering net worth of $735 million, surpassing Dre who now sits at $700 million after Forbes let him know he was a few hundred million dollars short of billionaire status after the Beats deal.

It's no question as to how Mr. Combs acquired his wealth, since he's been dabbling in a slew of companies - including Ciroc, Alkaline brand Aquahydrate and Revolt - for years. Diddy sat down with Forbes back in 2013 and talked to them about being hip-hop's first legit billionaire, and at the rate he's going, it's looking extremely likely in the near future.

Finishing off the list is Jay Z at #3 at $550 million, 50 Cent at #4 with $155 million, and Birdman finishing last at $150 million. Here's to the wealthy.
