Billboard magazine recently unveiled their annual list of highest paid artists, and of course several Hip-Hop icons found themselves in the ranking. Jay Z, his hard-working wife Beyonce, Eminem, and Drake were all among the top 40 earners in music for 2014.

Hov secured the #9 spot on the list by raking in $22 million, a windfall that was earned mostly from touring, while over $1 million came from publishing and streaming profits.

Beyonce landed the #12 spot with $19.6 million earned, with almost $15 million from touring and an additional $2.7 million from album sales.

Slim Shady holds down the #20 spot with the highest streaming royalties on the list and the second highest publishing. Em collected $5.2 million in touring, contributing to his $11.9 million total.

Drake's prolific grind landed him the #21 slot with earnings of $10.6 million, while Ri Ri landed at #32 with $8.3 million earned and 11.2 million track sales, the second-highest in the category behind Bruno Mars.

Boy band juggernaut One Direction took the top spot on the list with $46 million earned in 2014.
