Last Saturday, rapper Killer Mike was a special guest at the White House Correspondents Dinner, where he was representing Huffington Post for the evening, and enjoying the comedic chops of one named President Barack Obama.

As everyone enjoyed a rather festive night, it was brutal chaos down in Baltimore, as the incident to Freddie Gray sent the city into straight mayhem, with looting and rioting being a nuisance for not only the civilians of Baltimore, but as well as cops who attempted to contain the pandemonium.

In the week since the Correspondents Dinner and murder of Freddie Gray, the Run the Jewels rapper has voiced his dismay with the handling of the incident, from a social and political point of view, and has now taken his words to Billboard, as he penned a candid Op-ED in the wake of the riots and murder of Gray.

In the lengthy piece, the outspoken rapper opens up about the disconnect between the night of the White House Dinner, to finally finding about the Baltimore uprisings, and how he viewed the events surrounding the case.

"For the people of Baltimore — I don't criticize rioting because I understand it. But after the fires die down: organize, strategize and mobilize. Like Ferguson, you have an opportunity to start anew. I don't have a solution because whoever's there will have to come up with it. But we need community relations: riots are the language of the unheard," he penned.

He also touches on two news reports, both covered by news-casting vets Geraldo Rivera and CNN's Wolf Blitzer, as they negatively sensationalized and slandered the anarchic city for it's current actions and wrongdoings. He recalls meeting Wolf at the dinner, and he says, "If I were introduced to him today, I'd walk away. "I've watched Geraldo Rivera and [Wolf] Blitzer pander to the audiences of oppression on TV," he said.

He continues on about Blitzer's comments regarding the Baltimore riots, by writing, "He never thought he'd see such violence again in America," the rapper said. "And he said nearly the exact same words about Ferguson a few months ago."
