Two of boxing most promising and prominent female journalists were reportedly banned from tonight's fight with Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao over past coverage on Mayweather's domestic violence troubles.

According to Deadspin, the journalists took to Twitter to announce the news. Michelle Beadle, who is new to HBO's The Fight Game, tweeted her frustrations over getting her credentials revoked from the fighter's publicist, Kelly Swanson and Showtime. Beadle has publicly condemned the fighter for his domestic violence past and even dropped the hashtag, #BoycottMayweather for his fight last year against Marcos Maidana.

"I, along with @Rachel__Nichols, have been banned from the MGM Grand Arena for the fight tonight by the Mayweather camp. #TheFightGame" she tweeted. "After hearing my credential was pulled, I went home. Told this morning that HBO was able to get it re-approved late last night."

CNN's Rachel Nichols also questioned the fighter on his jail time following claims that he beat the mother of three children last year. Previous reports have claimed the fighter harmed seven women in 5 separate assault cases, but he has denied all of the reports.

Swanson has denied pulling credentials from the reporters and claims HBO gave Beadle, as well as Nichols their very own passes to cover the fight. Mayweather hasn't spoken out on either claim.
