As the highly anticipated fight between Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao rages near, investors have lost out on thousands of dollars due to their choice to buy multiple ring-side seats, TMZ reports.

Since tickets to the big fight when on sale, general admission seats were priced at $1,500, while ringside seats sold from $7,000 to $82,000. With the fight being promoted on major sports networks, along with broadcasting at restaurants, bars and other social hot spots, some viewers have decided to stay home and enjoy the fight from afar. Public relations companies who purchased tickets in bulk have had trouble selling the tickets, forcing them to slash the prices and lose most of what they invested.

One company allegedly bought 60 ringside seats, but have only sold 20.

However, other fans have shown interest in viewing the fight at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas by creating crowd-funding accounts. Celebrities like 50 Cent, Diddy and Mark Wahlberg have also bet major bucks on the fight.
