Adrien Broner's outing to a club in Las Vegas nearly turned into a night in jail after his incident with the venue's security on Thursday.

According to TMZ Sports, the former WBC lightweight champion arrived in Vegas this week for the Floyd Mayweather v. Manny Pacquiao fight. The three time world champ arrived at Club Tao with seven friends and spent $11K on V.I.P seating.

After paying for the service and being seated, security approached the fighter and asked him and his entourage to leave after failing to pleasing the club's dress code.

The group argued that the night was a more casual affair since Fabolous was performing on "Hip Hop night." After refusing to leave, police detained the fighter in his hotel room for 20 minutes. While getting cuffed, bystanders filmed Broner as he said, "They're mad [because] I'm rich."

After being detained, Broner and his entourage left the hotel. The fighter doesn't seemed be worried about the incident as he posted a few videos of his wife and goofing off with his friends.
