On Friday Marilyn Mosby, Baltimore City State's Attorney, announced to the nation that Freddie's Gray death has been ruled a homicide. The six officers involved in Mr. Gray's arrest and untimely death now face an array of charges.

As the unrest has enveloped the nation's concern, Hip-Hop artists have used both their words and actions to voice their beliefs about Freddie Gray's untimely death. Outspoken MCs like Talib Kewli expressed his angst, tweeting out, #FreddieGray had a LEGAL blade. Arrested illegally. Murdered in police custody."

Stic Man of Dead Prez tweeted out his thoughts with, "When people can come together with apparently vast differences over some real shxt that's when you know we getting somewhere." While Southern icon Bun B echoed his sentiment as his tweet included, "So we have charges filed in the death of Freddie Gray. Now we pray for the judicial system to do its party. State's attorney ain't playing."

Socially aware artists and activists like MC Ren and Kevin Liles used Twitter to amplify their voice as well. Check out the flip to view their thoughts.
