A community in Arizona is in mourning after a car accident took the life of 17-year-old Zakiyyah Elzy last Friday, April 24. Elzy, whose friends say was rapper YG's "biggest fan," succumbed to her injuries after being taken off of life support Tuesday night.

Zakiyyah was with her friends Jasmine Hardee and Taijanique Turner when their car collided with a black Ford pickup truck. Elzy was the only one to pass away from her injuries, while Turner has been deemed to be in stable condition and Jasmine was placed in a medically-induced coma with internal injuries. Zakiyyah saved five lives by donating her organs.

Once the three girls were rushed to the hospital, friends and supporters from their school began to tell the "popular cheerleaders'" story to help fund their medical expenses. They also began hashtagging #YGtoAZ in hopes that the Bompton rapper would come to her memorial, for it was Zakkiyah's dream to meet the "Blame It On the Streets" star.

"Man I'm out here for Kia," YG stated, clad in a #KiaGang tee with flowers in hand. He had just visited her family at their home and came to the memorial site to show his respects. He said all of her friends were hitting him up on Twitter, which was ultimately the deciding factor for him to make a visit. "Her mom and them told me she was trying to go to UCLA. It's sad," YG told the news. "That's my guardian angel now."
