50 Cent is in the business of getting things done, which is why the rapper killed two birds with one stone by putting on a show-stopping performance at Syracuse University, and nearly selling out his Effen Vodka line at a local liquor shop.

According to Syracuse.com, the rapper and his G-Unit group-mates Lloyd Banks, Kidd Kidd, Young Buck and Tony Yayo took over the college's annual "Block Party" concert Friday evening. The rapper performed his hits including new music from G-Unit's latest EP, The Beauty of Independence." On Saturday, the rapper took things up a notch by signing bottles of his Effen Vodka in the town's local liquor store.

Fans lined up to wait for 50 to arrive at N. State St for hours, with some arriving at the store at 1:30 a.m. The rapper greeted fans and sold 13 bottles a minute, leading to a successful day for the store. In just Effen sales alone, the store sold 1,400 bottles making the store $42,000. One fan who didn't drink says he waited 5 hours to get a bottle signed for his girlfriend.

While 50 was only scheduled to be at the store for an hour, he stayed for three hours talking to fans and snapping photos with kids.
