Drake maybe parading through the six with his "working on excellence" posse, but it's kindheartedness to his on-and-off hardwood floor buddy Paul Pierce that has the city of Toronto and Raptors' fans in an uproar.

The rapper, who has a side job as the "global ambassador" of the Toronto Raptors, learned quickly how fans can go bonkers for their beloved squad after he was the center of ridicule on social media after being photographed shaking hands with Pierce.

While many don't consider this to be a big deal, the Raptors are currently down 3-0 to the Wizards and sustained a 117-106 loss the same night (going down 2-0 at the time) the "Know Yourself" rapper decided to dap it up with Pierce after the game.

Toronto City Councilor Norm Kelly took to Twitter to express his dismay for Drake's kind gesture, and judging by his reaction towards Drizzy, you can rest assure he will not be a part of his "woes" anytime soon.

But one's to think. With the competitive nature previously displayed by the likes of Larry Bird, Magic Johnson and Michael Jordan, one can see why there's a gripe regarding all this buddy-buddy stuff going on.

Quick question: would the Detroit Pistons (aka Bad Boys) global ambassador done this back in the heyday of the NBA playoffs?

And oh, don't fret, T.Dot. Drizzy wasn't receiving much love from D.C. as well. Check out Drizzy and Paul's Bro-mance moment in the slide above.
