Bruce Jenner discussed his journey on becoming a woman for the first time and how his family responded to it all, including Kanye West on Friday.
In his ABC interview with Diane Sawyer, the former Olympian talked about his transition and more. While he claims he came out as transgender to his first wife, Kim caught Jenner wearing a dress and said nothing about the moment for years. He says the official news of his transition was hard for the reality starlet to understand, but Kanye West lent her some kind words to help put it all into perspective.
"He says to Kim, 'Look, I can be married to the most beautiful woman in the world, and I am. I can have the most beautiful daughter in the world, and I have that," Jenner said about Kanye. " 'But I'm nothing if I can't be me. If I can't be true to myself, it doesn't mean anything."
Since then, Kim has shown her love and support to her stepfather and sent out a loving message on Instagram shortly after the interview aired.
"It might not always be easy but we support you no matter what," she captioned a selfie of the two. "Your honesty has opened the doors for others to be courageous and live an authentic life!"
