Harlem spitter Jim Jones will finally head to court over a 2013 DUI arrest where the "We Fly High" rapper was pulled over and searched after police smelled marijuana in his vehicle. While the ride smelled of weed, they found no actual drugs in the car, and instead arrested him for attempting to commit a crime, driving under the influence of drugs, refusing a breathalyzer test and reckless driving. The trial was set to begin yesterday, April 14th, but the prosecution asked for more time, as the arresting officer wasn't available, according to Bossip.

Jones' attorney John Carlton told the popular site that Jim isn't interested in a plea deal and definitely won't admit to any wrongdoing, saying, "They (The Bronx District Attorney's Office) basically offered that he plead guilty. He's not pleading to that. If the DA wants to get creative, then that's (another thing)."

Carlton believes the Dipset member can beat the case because of its unique circumstances, as the arresting officer didn't believe Jones was under the influence. It was only later, after the case was reassigned, that a new officer said he was.
