Lil Wayne is currently suing his mentor Birdman and Cash Money, but may have to build up a good defense team himself, as according to TMZ, a former tour bus driver is taking Weezy to court because the "Believe Me" rapper threatened his life.

According to the lawsuit, Mark Jones was hired to drive Lil Wayne and his entourage around for the rapper's 2014 summer concert tour. While riding through Buffalo, NY, the driver pulled over for gas around 11:30 PM when he claims Wayne became irate and began cursing him out and pressuring him to keep driving. The scared driver then continued on without refueling.

Jones says the harassment didn't stop there, accusing Wayne of going on a tirade while threatening to pistol-whip and kill him, grabbing a gun and cocking it at close range while demanding "I want to get to the hotel now." Jones agreed and they rode the rest of the 30 minutes in complete silence.

Jones is now suing for false imprisonment, assault and emotional distress.  Check out pics of Weezy in the gallery above.
