On Sunday, Nelly was arrested on suspicion of drug possession. Since then, the Show Me State MC released an official statement via his IG account where he proclaimed that in the future he'll be more careful about the people with which he associates.
Despite him owning up to his arrest, Missouri State University officials abruptly announced the cancellation of a concert at which Nelly was scheduled to perform. The concert was originally scheduled to be in Springfield on April 23.
