Former New England Patriot Aaron Hernandez was charged with first-degree murder back in the summer of 2013 for the killing of Odin Lloyd, and after almost two years of litigation, jurors just found the football star guilty. Along with a first-degree murder guilty verdict comes a penalty of life in prison with no possibility of parole.  Hernandez will reportedly be officially sentenced later today.

Prosecutors reportedly took months to present more than 130 witnesses to build their case against Hernandez. The defense presented their side of the story and interviewed their witnesses in less than one day.

In addition to first-degree murder, Hernandez was also found guilty of unlawful possession of a firearm and unlawful possession of ammunition.
