Hip-Hop icon Nas allegedly owes the state of Georgia $276,439 in back taxes, this according to legal docs obtained by The Jasmine Brand.
Back in 2009, the legendary lyricist whose perspective has impacted millions, originally met the tax lien from the Georgia Department of Revenue for unpaid state taxes stemming from 2006.
Earlier this month on April 3, Georgia's Department of Revenue re-filed the original tax lien. It stated that their clandestine investigation revealed no property or assets belonging to Nas that they could seize. Check out the alleged proof here.
