In Matt Barnes' latest interview with Sports Illustrated, the Clippers forward recalled what his life was like before the fame, and how much it changed when he joined the NBA. At one point Barnes tells of how retired basketball player Allen Iverson showed him how ballers really do it up during a night on the town back when he played for the Philadelphia 76ers.

"Allen was the first guy that showed me how NBA players spend money in strip clubs," Barnes said. "That guy went. HARD." So hard, in fact, that some of the money never quite made it to the strippers in question. "He'd throw so much money, and this was when I was first in the league, that I used to take my foot and scoop the s--- under my chair and either re-throw it or put some in my pocket. He'd throw $30,000, $40,000 every time we went. I'm like, 'You realize what I can do with this money?'"

Surely Barnes doesn't have this problem now.
