Big Sean is scheduled to headline Princeton University's biannual event Lawnparties this spring, but some students at the prestigious school are trying to get him pulled from the event indefinitely.

"After I saw that video, I started researching Big Sean's language and I found language that was both misogynistic and homophobic," claims Duncan Hosie, referring to the promotional video for the event which plays the explicit version of Sean's "IDFWU." Appalled, Hosie and schoolmate Rebecca Basaldua put a petition together over the weekend citing that the "Dark Sky Paradise" rapper "promotes rape culture and misogyny in his lyrics" and should not be allowed to perform at the school.

"I'm sure every singer has a questionable song, but there are a significant amount of his songs that deal with this and I think there are a lot of other artists in the same genre even that would have been a better choice," said Rebecca.

Do you think Big Sean's music is too derogatory for the Princeton crowd? If so, who do you think should replace him? Sound off below.
