Phoenix Suns players and twins Marcus and Markieff Morris are currently being investigated for alleged aggravated assault reportedly because the victim sent sexual text messages to their mother.
According to the Phoenix Police report, the alleged assault took place the night of January 24th at the Nina Mason Pulliam Sports Complex in Phoenix. Investigators say the victim, Erik Hood, was attacked shortly after leaving the complex, with a witness identifying two of the five suspects as the Morris twins. The police report also states that Hood claimed to have known the Morris brothers since high school, where he mentored and encouraged them to pursue basketball. Hood admitted they had a "falling out" after discovering he and their mother were exchanging "inappropriate" text messages. His injuries included a fractured nose and several abrasions.
