Khloe and Rob Kardashian have always had a close relationship and his depression hasn't stopped Khloe from supporting him to the fullest.

In an interview with E!'s Maria Menounos, the reality star talks about Rob's current state and how her and Kanye West have tried to uplift his spirits. Khloe says her brother's state of mind is clear since they started living together, but still faces his fair share of demons.

"Rob definitely has his ups and downs, and he's been struggling for the past year and a half, maybe two years, which I think we've all had those times in our life," she said. "For the last week, he's been doing better, but I want Rob to do consistently forever. So right now I'm really proud of him. He's been working out a little and trying to get his groove back. And he acknowledges it! He's aware that he's very introverted and of course not the way he used to be. I think being aware is probably the best thing."

She says she tries to get him to be more active and even enlisted a little help from brother-in-law Kanye West. The group went hiking for a week and a half before Rob threw in the towel.

"Out of nowhere, he stopped," she said. "He just didn't want to anymore. I want to encourage him, I don't want to push him too hard. Some days are great and some days he's in his mood. Right now he's good, though!"

Rob's behavior was questioned last week when he compared Kim to a deranged character from the thriller, Gone Girl.

In the new season of "Keeping Up With The Kardashians," the family sits down with a family doctor to plan an intervention for the 28-year-old.
