Waka Flocka had everyone believing that he was about to appear in a sex tape after a photo surfaced of a woman seemingly going down on him, but the whole situation was a carefully planned prank.

The Atlanta rapper partnered with PornHub, 36 Brickhouse, and Problem Media on the April Fools Day prank as a way to drum up attention for his new "Bust" video. 36 Brickhouse president Brick Bronson broke the news about the prank online.

"Sorry to disappoint anyone hoping to catch a real Waka Flocka Flame sex tape. But I think this joke was definitely worth it to build the buzz and drop what I think you'll love as the official video for 'Bust' and Waka's latest mixtape. Happy April Fool's Day people!"

The video later premiered on PornHub, and the website's VP spoke about working with Waka and his team, "This whole collaboration has been absolutely amazing from start to finish. Waka and his camp are all professionals to the Nth degree and we were happy to work together to pull off this seamless prank on the sex tape hungry masses. While we're apologetic to those who were expecting the real thing, we are still proud to present the launch of Waka's new video and Pornhub Record's latest collaboration."
