Talks of Jay Z purchasing Tidal, a music streaming service curated by artists, are coming to life on Monday, according to the New York Post.

The rap mogul's Facebook page posted a special message to his fans, stating that the rapper will make a special announcement March 30th at 5 p.m. regarding the service. Tidal can be placed in the same realm as other music streaming services like Spotify and Apple but unlike the rest, Tidal has the support of songwriters, and popular artists like Rihanna, Madonna and more. Similar to some of their competitors, Tidal also offers music consumers to stream music for a price, with theirs being at $20 a month.

Sources claim Rihanna, Coldplay and Beyonce will be in New York tomorrow for Tidal's rumored launch event.

Currently, Aspiro the Swedish company behind Tidal has over half a million subscribers. With the rapper on board, the company is hoping to grow and become a head competitor with Apple.

Jay Z's company Project Panther BidCo paid a total of $56 million to acquire Aspiro last year.
