Atlanta's OG Maco wasn't feeling his breakthrough hit, "U Guessed It" upon first listen.

In an interview with The Fader, the rapper talks about the attention his single has received, his other talents, and why some music listeners are "idiots" for loving "U Guessed It."

With over 27 million YouTube views and counting, the popularity of the single exploded last year after vines popped up everywhere with the song's catchy chorus. The song rose to the top of the Hip Hop and Pop charts, but the rapper says he wasn't a fan of the track.

"Me and the whole OGG, we all listen to this s***," he said. "They listening to 'U Guessed It' like, bruh, this s*** trash. And I'm like, nah, this is just that garbage that is going. People hate to hear me say it, but it's only because people are so f***** stupid that that song is going. People are idiots!"

On Friday, the rapper dropped an EP cleverly titled, I Made This S*** Before U Guessed It. The five-track project is a far cry from the trap melee sounds of "U Guessed It," with collaborations from his OGG family.
