Jimmy Henchman is currently serving a life sentence stemming from a 2012 conviction on 13 counts related to a multimillion dollar drug trafficking ring. Yesterday (3/24), Henchman, real name James Rosemond, was also convicted for his involvement in the 2009 murder-for-hire plot that resulted in the death of G-Unit affiliate Lowell "Lodi Mack" Fletcher. This concludes a case that extends back to his 2012 indictment, which covered events from as far back as 2007.

U.S. Attorney Preet Bharara explained: "James Rosemond had Lowell Fletcher murdered, and after the deed, Rosemond bragged to a criminal associate that he would never be caught for the murder because Fletcher was merely a 'gangbanger' who died in the Bronx. This prosecution has proven Rosemond wrong. The sentence imposed on Rosemond today demonstrates that murdering anyone, anywhere in the Southern District of New York, will not be tolerated."

Henchman was placed in the middle of rapper Game's beef with 50 Cent, G-Unit and Chris Lighty's Violator Management back in the mid 2000s when he managed the Compton MC. Lodi Mack, Tony Yayo and another G-Unit affiliate were accused of slapping Henchman's teenage son, charges Yayo eventually had dropped while Mack spent some time behind bars. He was released in September of 2009 and promptly targeted, as Mack was shot five times just days after coming home, killed on a street corner in The Bronx, allegedly in retaliation for slapping Jimmy's son two years prior.

Days after being found guilty of drug trafficking, he was indicted along with five others in conspiring to kill Fletcher, allegedly ordering the hit for $30,000 and paying an associate to do the dirty work in exchange for a kilo of cocaine. Henchman was convicted of leading the murder plot this past December and was just sentenced to life, once again, plus 20 years.
