Floyd Mayweather's position as head of The Money Team certainly won't be threatened any time soon, as according to a report by The Associated Press' Tim Dahlberg, Mayweather could bank a whopping $180 million for fighting Pacman on May 2nd. Pacquiao, who agreed to a 60-40 split in Mayweather's favor will make a little over $120 million.

Original estimates predicted Mayweather would earn about $120 million on the deal, but that number increased due to a number of factors. According to promoter Bob Arum, the public's thirst to see this particular bout gives the boxers a little more leeway when it comes to demanding higher paychecks.

"For whatever it's worth, the build up over these years has certainly enhanced the fight,'' said Arum. ''Everybody knows about it now, even people who don't follow boxing. Plus we have a good economy, unlike in 2009 when people were out of work and didn't have the money to spend.''
