Yesterday, producers of the new Drake documentary, "Drake's Homecoming: The Lost Footage" revealed that they were considering suing the Toronto rap star for $15 million after he distanced himself from the project on Twitter. According to TMZ, the film's distribution company will indeed take legal action against Drizzy, claiming he did it to draw attention to his own current projects by downplaying theirs.

Drake tweeted out on Monday that the documentary is "not something OVO or Drake have any part in. I feel it is my responsibility to inform and protect my fans." He went on to say that two of the film's producers, Jas and J. Prince, stand behind him in his decision not to support the project. Specticast Distributors is speculating that he tweeted it to draw attention to his own Twitter page because shortly after the tweet was sent out, he began tweeting out links for tickets to his OVO Fest this summer.

Check out pics of Drake above. Do you think they have a shot in court or is this just more publicity for the movie? Sound off below.
