TMZ reports that Mac Miller may be headed to court over allegedly reappropriating music without permission. '70s Funk band Aquarian Dream insists the "J's On My Feet" rapper blatantly took the group's signature song.

So now, Miller may be using those same J's to slide into a courthouse. Jacques Burvick, the group's lead singer, claims Miller snatched their hit "Yesterday (was so nice today)" from their 'Fantasy' album and recycled it for a track called "Therapy" off his 'Faces' album.

Burvick claims that Mac Miller's camp were conscious of its chicanery. When the proactive singer called out Miller, the Pittsburgh emcee's reps insisted they attempted to contact him to get permission to use the song, and when they couldn't they went ahead and used the music anyway.

Burvick goes on to contend that via Mac's website, OldJewish.com, and other sites, the song has been downloaded over 700,000 times. Burvick is seeking at least $150,000 in damages.
